Developments in Writing Part 4: In Which We Take on Too Much (but it works out in the end – well, sorta)

bookWhat is blogging? I clearly don’t know because I haven’t written a single thing in forever. But we won’t talk about my failures in that regard, let me direct you to some other things I’m lacking on.

Oh, what’s that? An actual plot??? A conflict?? How’d you guess.

Okay, we’ll I’m being slightly hard on myself. If you didn’t already know (which you should bc I mentioned it like 18 times, I’m participating in Nanowrimo this month and damn is it beating the crap out of me.)

Developments in Writing Part 3: In Which we Look at Aesthetics and Don’t Write At All

Check out part 1 and part 2 of Developments in Writing (if you want) they both basically blabbing fests (like this)

So I spent more time looking and pinning beautiful, aesthetic pictures on Pinterest than actually writing, which is like a totally normal thing to do as a writer (I know this bc I’m a verified writer okay, put those eyes of judgement away)

This literally took we 20 hours to make, so please be kind and praise my hardwork, thanks, appreciate ya!

(also, i was inspired by this idea from a lovely lady who is also an aspiring author so go check out her wonderful blog)

If you missed out on Part 1 of Developments in Writing, then ya probably should go check it out before continuing to read this (just a suggestion though, you can totally rebel against my wishes if you want)

So you’re expecting me, the kid who can’t decide on which type of chips I want for a snack, to be able to create my own world? A world that my characters will have to interact with? A world that is home to strange creatures and unique occurrences? And somehow fit this amidst character development and plot and conflict all in 300-400 pages ???

Greetings, hello @ my fellow readers,

I thought I’d switch the content of my blog up a bit, since I’ve never shown any actual semblance of organization here, and add a strange and random segment for benefit of your entertainment, or maybe knowledge or maybe you’ll just ignore this entirely not even blaming you, idk. It’s a work in progress, at least give me that.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo, it’s not really common knowledge, but I’ve kinda, sorta, not-really, been writing a book.
